As a WSIB Eligibility Adjudicator, you will be responsible for assessing the eligibility of applicants for benefits under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). You will review applications, interview applicants, and make decisions regarding eligibility in accordance with WSIB guidelines. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include: • Reviewing applications and determining the eligibility of applicants for benefits. • Interpreting and applying WSIB policies and procedures when making decisions. • Documenting all decisions made in accordance with WSIB guidelines. • Answering questions from applicants and providing advice on their eligibility for benefits. • Collaborating with other WSIB departments to ensure accurate and timely decisions on applications. • Developing and implementing plans to improve the adjudication process. • Regularly reviewing case files and determining if any changes need to be made. • Assisting in the investigation and resolution of complaints related to the adjudication process. To be successful as a WSIB Eligibility Adjudicator, you should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interpret and apply WSIB policies.
